“Yves Saint Laurent“, directed by Jalil Lespert, tells the story of the designer and founder of Saint Lauren from the early days of his career in Dior, where he started working in 1958, to the opening of his own House in 1962, until his last days and even shows his rivalry with Karl Lagerfeld.

Madeline Fontaine was the costume designer in charge of the production, who made sure that the major star of the movie was the wardrobe. The production even included some original pieces, such as “le smoking” and the “Mondrian dress”.

It is definitely a must see for fashion history lovers.
